Poco made the Poco X3 NFC official in an online event today. The device is the successor to Poco X2 that was launched back in February and is the second device in its X series.
Thanks to the leaks, the Poco X3 specifications don’t surprise us, nevertheless they are interesting. For those who don’t know, Poco X3 NFC is the first device to be powered by Snapdragon 732G. Recently launched, it’s a gaming-focused chipset that gives a huge performance boost to the device.
Speaking of performance, the Poco X3 comes with 6GB RAM along with two storage options — 64GB and 128GB. The storage can be expanded to 256GB. As for over-heating, Poco X3 comes with LiquidCool 1.0 Plus — an enhanced vapor chamber cooling system that keeps the device “6 degree cooler.”
Poco X3 sports a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Supporting the huge screen and CPU is a whopping 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Poco claims the device can be fully charged in 65 minutes.
The Poco device also comes with a feature called “Dynamic switch” where the device automatically shifts to a different refresh rate based on the activity to reduce battery consumption.
On the rear, Poco X3 has a circular shaped quad-camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary shooter, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a punch-hole camera at the top which holds a 20MP lens.
Similar to its predecessor, Poco X2 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and thankfully comes with the headphone jack. On the software end, Poco says the device will run MIUI 12 out of the box and Poco Launcher 2.0.
Poco X3 comes in two different colors — Cobalt Blue and Shadow Gray. The device also holds a huge chromo logo on the rear which changes color as you tilt the device.
Poco X3 NFC is priced at €229 ~ INR 20,000 for 6GB/64GB variant, and €269 ~ INR 23,500 for the 6GB/128GB variant. The company has also put up an early bird pricing — €199 for the 6GB/64GB option and €249 for the 6GB/128GB option.
The device will be available globally starting tomorrow. According to Poco’s General Manager C Manmohan, the device will reportedly launch in India soon.
