Popular digital wallet Paytm, under One97 Communications, has launched its loyalty program, dubbed Paytm First.
The subscription-based program is meant to provide additional and exclusive benefits and regular cashback offers to attract more user base and maintain active users.
In collaboration with various other services, the loyalty service will provide users with a Zomato Gold membership, an annual subscription for Gaana, Sony Liv, an Eros Now membership, a ViU subscription, and benefits on Uber along with Uber Eats.
Users will also get a cashback of Rs 100 on the purchase of the subscription, priced at Rs 750 a year. Furthermore, Paytm will provide users with cashbacks and offers on movie tickets and Paytm Mall.
Speaking on the launch of Paytm First, Deepak Abbot, Senior Vice-President, Paytm said, “We are very excited to launch our exclusive loyalty programme ‘Paytm First’ with sought after rewards and benefits spanning across video and music streaming, food and travel, shopping and lifestyle.”
As far as the availability of the subscription is concerned, Paytm has conveyed via Twitter that Paytm First customers would be randomly selected by the system itself, based on their usage pattern.

Standing against the likes of Amazon, Paytm First aims to get over three million subscribers within the first year of its launch.
