OnePlus has released a new OxygenOS update for its latest flagship smartphone OnePlus 8T. The latest OxygenOS build 184.108.40.206 is the second update for the smartphone within a week. This update brings a couple of improvements to device performance and camera and adds the recently released Android security patch for October 2020.
OnePlus has released this OxygenOS update at a time when several OnePlus 8T owners have complained about subpar camera performance and display issues in the smartphone.

As per the changelog of the update, OxygenOS 18.104.22.168 update for OnePlus 8T brings improved system power consumption performance to reduce heating, improved accidental touch prevention to offer a better gaming experience, optimized alert Slider by adding toast messages when switching among the 3 modes, among other improvements.
For those who were facing issues with the camera, the OxygenOS 11 update promises optimized imaging effects to bring a better shooting experience and also intends to improve camera stability.
Additionally, the changelog also mentions that the update optimizes mobile network connection to improve the network intensity with signal.
OnePlus has also added the following bug fixes in the update:
- Fixed the issue that the status bar kept hovering on the screen in landscape mode
- Fixed the issue that Play Store could not install the app
- Fixed the small probability issue with network interruption while playing games
