Chinese company OnePlus has released the new OxygenOS Open Beta 7 for its OnePlus 6 smartphone, which has introduced several updates and features.

Starting with the first feature, the company has launched the OnePlus Roaming which will allow users to browse the internet without the use of a physical SIM card. However, the feature works for data only and doesn’t include calls.

The company claims that the OnePlus Roaming feature will work globally in most of the countries and regions.

Additionally, the feature will soon list down the various packs in different regions, which the users can choose from accordingly.

How to get started?

To start with, the users are firstly required to purchase the desired plan, enable the pack, head to the Settings option, click on the Wi-Fi and Internet, and selecting the OnePlus Roaming will get you started.

The second feature is the Video Enhancer which will improve the colors produced for better video streaming. This can be done by tapping the Settings option and clicking on Display option to enable the feature.

Other updates include vibration when hanging up, UI enhancements for emergency rescue, SIM allotment for different contacts, user agreement and privacy policy, app drawer options under launcher settings, and bug fixes and improvements.

Additionally, there is no word on whether or not the new features will reach the OnePlus 3, the OnePlus 3T, the OnePlus 5 or the OnePlus 5T. However, we expect it to reach the new OnePlus 6T.
