As reported on an official OnePlus XDA-developers forum, the new version will bring more functions to the System settings and System apps. System app updates are also being made available to users on older ROM’s through Google Play.
Changes brought by Oxygen OS 4.5.0 update:
System
- Added lift up display
- Added Gaming Do Not Disturb
- Added low priority notification
- Added network speed in status bar
- Added scheduled night mode
- Added OnePlus Slate font
- Redesigned Dash Charge animation
- System stability and battery improvements
Launcher
- Added Shot on OnePlus wallpaper
Phone
- Redesigned calling UI
Camera / Gallery
- Added Shot on OnePlus watermark
- Redesigned photo editor in Gallery
File Manager
- Added secure box
Lift up display will allow you to view your notifications when you lift up the device from a surface. Users have to rely on Xposed modules(for rooted devices) to display network speed in the status bar, but the new update will bring this much-needed feature too. Secure box in File Manager is supposed to bring more security to your stored data. But, according to OnePlus 5 users, it only hides files rather than encrypting them.
The update might need some time to reach as the rollout will be in increments, but everybody will get this update in a few days. So keep checking your System Updates on Settings menu.
