After releasing OxygenOS Open Beta 10 last week, OnePlus has now released OxygenOS Open Beta 11 for OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. The latest update brings March 2020 security patches in addition to a couple of display-related improvements.
It is commendable that OnePlus is releasing swift OxygenOS updates after several users complained that the company hasn’t offered any updates for OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro devices for a long time.
In the last Open Beta update, OnePlus introduced February 2020 security patch, optimizations for RAM management, and minor bug fixes. Open Beta 11, on similar lines, is more about bug fixes and doesn’t bring any new features to OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro.
Here is the changelog of OxygenOS Open Beta 11:
- Fixed the frame rate issue to improve screen recording experience
- Optimized the adaptive brightness feature
- Fixed the random switch to Gboard while using Swiftkey or a 3rd party keyboard
- Updated Android security patch to 2020.03
The update is 189MB in size and will be rolled out in stages. If you haven’t received the OxygenOS update yet, you can wait for it to arrive in your region. Alternatively, you can download and install the update using the OxygenOS Updater app.
