OnePlus Nord closed beta

OnePlus follows the classic software release cycle: software updates are initially made available to a group of closed beta testers, then arrive for open beta testers and finally for general users.

Now, the company has announced a closed beta program for its latest smartphone – OnePlus Nord. The company has officially invited applications for its OnePlus Nord Beta program to its forum.

The beta program allows the company to get feedback on new features it introduces in OxygenOS and refine them to make them more user-friendly. If you’re a OnePlus Nord owner, here’s how you can become a member of the OnePlus Nord closed beta program.

OnePlus Nord Closed Beta Program: Eligibility & How To Join The Program

This time OnePlus is inviting only 200 members for its OnePlus Nord beta program, hence, it is super-exclusive. The program has the following requirements:

  • Must own OnePlus Nord
  • Be an active OnePlus Community member
  • Must be willing to provide feedback and suggestions to the OnePlus team about features and bugs on Slack

To become a part of the OnePlus Nord beta program, you must fulfill all three criteria pointers mentioned above. Next, you need to register yourself by clicking on this link and participate in a short survey related to OnePlus Nord. The survey contains questions like how much time you have spent on the OnePlus forum in the last three months and more.

You will be required to sign a Non-Disclaimer Agreement or NDA to be a part of the OnePlus Nord beta program.

Moreover, the company’s official blog says that participants might require flashing builds, leading to the wiping of the entire data. Hence, we recommend users become a part of the OnePlus Nord beta program only when you’re using the budget smartphone as your secondary device.
