OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9RT in China today. The Chinese smartphone maker’s latest offering comes with a 600Hz ultra-sensitive touch panel and a 50MP triple camera system with a dedicated nightscape algorithm.
It follows in the footsteps of OnePlus flagships and comes with some fancy bells and whistles of its own. It has a flagship processor and specifications like every OnePlus top-tier model. However, the triple WiFi antenna earlier teased in a Weibo post is nowhere to be seen. The OnePlus 9RT was teased multiple times on the platform with almost all its specifications leaked before the launch.

Coming to the cameras, the phone packs a 50MP triple camera system setup.
The processing on the 9RT is handled by the flagship Snapdragon 888 chip with 5G capabilities. The company could’ve gone with the Snapdragon 888+ and made use of the AI processing prowess of the updated chip. Nonetheless, the SD888 is also a flagship chip and one of the best ones at that. The chip is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of high-speed storage.
In terms of wireless, the phone is 5G ready and comes with WiFi 6 antennas. The OnePlus 9RT also features Bluetooth and packs a solid 4,500mAh battery.
