OnePlus 7T And OnePlus TV Q1 Officially Launched

OnePlus has finally launched the new OnePlus 7T  — the successor to OnePlus 7 — at an event in New Delhi, India. Along with the new OnePlus smartphone, the company has also unveiled the much-awaited OnePlus TV, thus marking its entry into the TV business.

While most of us thought that the OnePlus 7T series won’t be much of an incremental update, to our surprise we have a new design, along with new specifics, that can lure many of us into going for a smartphone.

The OnePlus 7T comes with a 6.55-inch FullHD AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and 90Hz refresh rate. The display has a waterdrop notch similar to the OnePlus 7.

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 855 found on its predecessor, along with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone will be offered in two internal storage options: 128GB and 256GB.

As for the cameras, the device comes with a camera upgrade. It features three rear cameras (arranged in a circular camera module): a 48MP primary sensor, a 12MP telephoto lens, and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera stands at 16MP.

Additionally, the smartphone is backed by a 3,800mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge and runs Android 10-based OxygenOS out-of-the-box.

OnePlus 7T Price and Availability

The OnePlus 7T’s 8GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 37,999 while the 8GB+256GB variant comes with a price tag of Rs 39,999.

The smartphone will be up for pre-orders from September 28 on Amazon.in and OnePlus.in.

OnePlus TV Q1

Another exciting part of the OnePlus event was OnePlus TV, throwing light on the company’s first steps into the Smart TV world.

The OnePlus TV comes with a 55-inch 4K QLED display. With a sleek design, the smart TV supports a stand that runs down from the top to the bottom.

The OnePlus TV Q1 comes with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ support, and Dolby Atmos audio system with support for eight 50W speakers. The OnePlus TV Q1 Pro comes with an additional motorized soundbar.

It is powered by a MediaTek MT55670 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Additionally, there is support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Google Assistant, and more.

The smart TV comes with a sleek remote that will make the usage way easier. There are features such as volume control, a seamless switch between apps, a shortcut tab to access favorite apps, and more.

The OnePlus TV is priced at Rs 69,900 and will be available on Amazon.in and OnePlus.in. The Pro version costs Rs. 99,900.
