OnePlus 6T Launched At $549 With In-Display Fingerprint Scanner And Tear-Drop Notch


After a plethora of ongoing rumors, OnePlus has finally launched its latest flagship OnePlus 6T. The successor to OnePlus 6 features 6.4-inches Optic OLED screen and in-display fingerprint scanner feature named “Screen Unlock” that unlocks the device in just 0.34 seconds.

The incremental T update brings no changes inside the hood and packs the same Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 6GB/ 8GB of RAM. The camera setup is also the same with 16MP and 20MP rear camera setup. To make the phone sturdier, OnePlus has provided Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

OnePlus 6T has added a new feature called Nightscape that brings together a slew of features such as Nightscape HDR, detail optimization, multi-frame stabilization and noise reduction to click improved low-light photographs.Oneplus 6T

Another new feature that OnePlus has introduced in OnePlus 6T is studio light in the portrait mode. The studio light feature accentuates the colors and brightness levels whenever a human face is detected in the portrait mode.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer company already confirmed earlier that their upcoming flagship will be without 3.5mm headphone jack. Inspired by Oppo F9 and Oppo R17, OnePlus 6T features a tear-drop notch.

The new OnePlus 6T features a 3700 mAh battery as compared to OnePlus 6’s 3400mAh. A Smart boost feature has also been introduced that boosts the performance of the device by 20% for playing heavy games.

OnePlus has partnered with T-Mobile, and there will be a T-Mobile exclusive variant optimized for the carrier.

On the pricing front, OnePlus 6T 6GB/128 GB Mirror black variant will cost $549, 8GB/128 GB variant can be purchased at $579 whereas the high end 8GB/256 Gb version will set you back $629.
