Xiaomi recently launched the biggest update to its Android skin, MIUI 12, at an event in China. Since the official roll-out is months away, users can try out MIUI 12 beta version.
According to Xiaomi, the first batch of devices is scheduled to get MIUI 12 stable version by the end of June. But this only applies to the Xiaomi’s China variants.
MIUI 12 Global Release Date
Up until now, the company has been tight-lipped on the MIUI 12 Global release, so much so that it refrained from tweeting much about MIUI 12 since the launch in China.
But that could change with the help of Twitter users. Xiaomi’s official Twitter account has promised to reveal the MIUI 12 Global launch release date if its MIUI 12 post can reach 3000 re-tweets.

The post was first uploaded by the MIUI official account on the day MIUI 12 was announced in China. Xiaomi retweeted the post a day later claiming to ask MIUI account about the MIUI 12 global release date if the 3000 retweet condition is met.
At the time of writing this article, the post has been re-tweeted by 2500 people. In other words, Xiaomi will announce the MIUI 12 Global ROM release date if the post gets another 500 re-tweets.
Since Xiaomi India devices run on the MIUI global version, MIUI 12 India launch will coincide with the global launch.
The MIUI 12 update comes with a massive amount of design changes, such as “Super Wallpaper” which is now available to MIUI 11 devices; a sleep monitor, new privacy features, Android 10 navigation gestures, and much more.
