MIUI 12 India Beta Program

Xiaomi held the MIUI 12 global launch last month and announced the exciting features of MIUI 12 along with the list of supported devices.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer also rolled out MIUI 12 Global beta stable updates to Redmi K20/Mi 9T and Mi 9 devices recently. Users who participated in the Global Pilot program were the only ones to receive the beta update.

Now, Xiaomi has come up with another MIUI 12 Pilot tester program with support for more Xiaomi devices. Owners of Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7S, and Poco F1 are now eligible to take part in the program.

Unfortunately, Poco X2 and Poco F2 Pro are missing from the list even though they are the newer Poco models.

How to apply for MIUI 12 Beta program?

  1. To become an MIUI 12 global tester, you first need to download the Telegram app. Next, join the MIUI Global Stable Beta Testing Recruitment Group by clicking on this link.
  2. You also need to fill out this form and share your Mi account ID, Telegram username, and device information.
  3. Once you have filled the forum correctly, Xiaomi will select a few users for the final list of MIUI 12 beta testers.

You need to be running a stable version of MIUI 12 to be eligible for the Pilot program. The last date to apply for MIUI 12 beta testing program is June 19, 2020.

People participating in the beta program will receive MIUI 12 Global Beta Stable updates. These builds are essentially the final stable update; however, they may end up going back depending upon the feedback of Pilot program users. It goes without saying that the MIUI 12 update beta may include several bugs and glitches.

Interestingly, the final date to apply for the beta program is just a day after we speculated that Xiaomi would begin rolling out MIUI 12 updates to the second batch of devices in India.
