The wait is finally over! Xiaomi has finally released the MIUI 11 Global ROM based on Android 10 at an event in India.
This comes a month after the Xiaomi first unveiled MIUI China ROM at its China event in which the company launched Mi Mix Alpha: A smartphone with 108MP primary camera and a display that wraps around the back.
Alongside the new MIUI update, the Chinese tech giant has also launched the Redmi Note 8 Pro with aura design and quad-camera setup.
MIUI 11 biggest features
MIUI 11 Global ROM is based on the new Android 10, hence it’s no surprise that it includes a lot of Android 10 features such as a system-wide dark theme, quick replies, Digital wellbeing or Smart screen in Xiaomi terms.
Xiaomi has also made a lot of design changes to make it look more minimalistic. The new design features include a new iconography and font titled ‘Milan Pro.’ MIUI 11 also features dynamic video wallpapers that one can apply to the home screen.
There is a new dynamic font scaling feature allowing users to change the size of the display based on the displayed content. Another new feature of MIUI 11 is the always-on display with new animations.
Other best features of MIUI 11 include an extreme power saving mode, task functionality in the Xiaomi To-do app, a floating calculator, and a lot more.

Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro Launched in India
The new Redmi smartphone has a 6.53-inch FHD+ Dot notch HDR display and comes with a quad-rear camera setup with 64MP being the primary lens.
On the inside, the phone stacks a MediaTek Helio G90T processor, 4,500mAh battery. The device also supports 18 W fast charger that will come inside the box.
Redmi Note 8 Pro is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the base model of 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM, while the top model with 8GB RAM + 128 GB ROM is priced at Rs. 17,999.
There is also a Redmi Note 8 that features a  Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 and includes the same quad-camera setup with a 48-MP primary camera.
