According to a report from 91mobiles, the laptop will be a rebranded RedmiBook 13 that Xiaomi launched back in December 2019.
Xiaomi recently launched RedmiBook 13, 14, and 16 Ryzen Editions in China. But according to 91mobiles, the RedmiBook 13 for India will have an Intel processor.
He also shared teasers suggesting that the Xiaomi laptop will have a sleek design, a 13-inch display, and a massive battery. It will also feature 1C charging tech, something Xiaomi hinted at while promoting the notebook on Twitter. All of the leaks indicate that the Chinese tech giant is likely to bring the RedmiBook 13 December 2019 edition to India.
RedmiBook 13 Specifications
If the upcoming laptop from Xiaomi is rebranded RedmiBook 13, the specs won’t differ much from its Chinese variant.
RedmiBook 13 comes with a 13.3-inch FHD display (1920×1080 pixels) having an 89% screen-to-body ratio, and it weighs 1.23 Kg. On the inside, both the Intel Core i5 and Core i7 variants will offer 8GB DDR4 RAM, along with 512GB SSD.
For some light gaming, the laptop also comes with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 discrete GPU. Xiaomi says the RedmiBook 13 offers up to 11 hours of battery life. Moreover, the 1C charging tech can fuel the Xiaomi laptop up to 50% within 35 minutes.
RedmiBook 13 Price in India
Back in 2019, RedmiBook 13 was launched in China at CNY 4,199 ~ Rs. 44,500 for the Intel i5 model. Meanwhile, the RedmiBook Intel Core i7 model has launched at a price of CNY 5,199 ~ Rs. 55,000.
RedmiBook 13 India price has not been revealed yet, but Xiaomi said that its laptops in India would not be as affordable as its smartphones. So, we could expect them to be priced in line with the current offering from other PC makers.
Xiaomi is also launching Mi band 5 at the June 11th event. The band is speculated to have Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant and NFC support.
