Amidst rumors related to the unannounced Helio P80 chipset, chipmaker MediaTek has started to tease a new chipset in the making, dubbed the MediaTek Helio P90.
The company has recently released a teaser video via its Twitter handle, giving us an inkling of the arrival of the new high-end processor soon.
While the teaser video doesn’t give out details, it is suggested that the upcoming Helio P90 SoC could be more powerful, more efficient than its predecessor and is likely to come with groundbreaking AI capabilities. Additionally, the processor is touted to be the chip ‘that changes everything.’

To recall, the Helio P80 has been visiting various benchmark sites and was able to achieve a benchmark which ranked second to Qualcomm’s upcoming high-end processor- the Snapdragon 8150 processor, which is expected to launch on December 4 in Hawaii.
For those who have forgotten, the recently-launched Realme U1 is the first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC which is the current flagship processor.
However, not much is known about the to-be-announced Helio P90. MediaTek Helio P90 is expected to arrive soon, preferably next month or during CES 2019 in January.
