Kodi, the XBMC owned media center, has released the first beta version of their software Kodi v18 Leia. In an official announcement on the official Kodi website, the update has been made available for the different platforms such as Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android, and iOS.
Kodi is nearing the official release of the final release, and this beta version focuses on bringing bug fixes and providing solutions for usability problems. The full changelog of the update has not provided by Kodi in the release article, but you can view the changes on their Wikipedia page which contains the possible changes brought about in the beta version.
The official post said that this release would reduce occasional crashes and glitches as they have replaced the badly coded parts with a standardized code and structured design.
