The prequel movie to the hit anime series Jujutsu Kaisen gets a fantastic new key visual. “Jujutsu Kaisen” 0 as the visual is showing, will feature many known characters from the anime along with a completely new protagonist. The pic is just in time to build up hype for the 24 December 2021 release date.

After the popular run of the Jujutsu Kaisen, anime fans have been eagerly awaiting the next installment. As such, since the announcement of the prequel, fans have been keeping a keen eye on the studio “MAPPA” and any teasers they reveal. So obviously we will be analyzing this visual closely, so let’s check it out!
“Jujutsu Kaisen 0” New Key Visual
The pic shows off the prequel’s main character, Yuta Okkutsu, readying his sword and powering up his curse. Also, we have the beloved Gojou Satoru gearing up for battle alongside the seniors of Jujutsu High Maki Zenin and Panda. Furthermore, the heroes are seen standing in front of the arrogant curse user Suguru Geto, who will serve as the prequel’s main antagonist.
The art style of the visual feels very similar to the original’s. Which is clearly a good choice as far as we are concerned. Moreover, along with the title we have the tagline of the movie, “Curse each other with everything at stake”. Also mentioned is the Friday release date 12.24. Just to remind you, the release coming at the end of the year.
About The Movie
The film is based on the manga titled “Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical Highschool”. It is a short mini series by Gege Akutami, creator of Jujutsu Kaisen. The manga introduces many concepts and the world of Jujutsu Kaisen that are later expanded by Akutami in his newer series. As such when Jujutsu Kaisen hit mainstream popularity the mini-series became “Volume 0” for the manga.
Studio MAPPA, who worked on the original anime, is working on the flick. Some of their other works are Attack On Titan season 4, Idaten, Takt Op Destiny, and many more. Also returning is the original director of season one Sunghoo Park. The film will be released in Japan on 24 December 2021. Although you can watch the first season of the anime on Netflix right now.
