Jio Hotstar + Disney VIP annual subscription

Reliance Jio is back with a fantastic offer for its users. The telecom service provider is offering free one-year Hotstar+ Disney VIP subscriptions to its prepaid users with a minimum recharge of Rs 401.

Generally, the Hotstar + Disney VIP annual subscription is available on the market at Rs 399.

Availability of Disney + Hotstar VIP subscription

Jio prepaid users are required to recharge for a minimum of Rs 401 monthly to avail the Jio Hotstar+ Disney 1 year VIP subscription, in which they will get 90GB data for 28 days.

Users can also opt for a one-time annual recharge of Rs 2599, which offers 740 GB of data for 365 days, along with the yearly subscription of Hotstar + Disney VIP.

The subscription is also available with a few add on data packs priced at Rs 1208 (240 days), Rs 1206 (180 days), Rs 1004 (120 days), and Rs 612. The first three data add-ons come with more than 200 GB of data, and the last one offers 72 GB of unlimited data.

Airtel vs. Jio

It seems Jio has openly challenged Airtel by combining the Hostar annual subscription with its prepaid plans. As of now, Airtel is also offering Disney+Hotstar VIP annual subscription in its Rs. 401 prepaid plan that comes with 3GB of data for 28 Days.

On the other hand, Jio is offering Hotstar+ Disney VIP annual subscription with 90 GB data for 28 days, which is almost 30 times more than Airtel at the same price. Jio’s Hotstar plan also comes with unlimited voice calling and access to Jio apps.

Moreover, Airtel only has a single prepaid plan offering Hotstar + Disney subscription while Jio has over six plans that offer the Hotstar subscription.

Jio has always been a step ahead of other telecom companies in providing cheap data packs and other benefits to its customers. Given the demand for Disney+ Hotstar content amongst the people, it will be interesting to see how Jio benefits from the situation.
