Besides being the largest GPU maker in the world, Intel has never been able to cut through the hard competition from AMD and Nvidia when it comes to a discrete graphics card.
However, in the past, we saw new beginnings like Intel appointing former AMD chief GPU architect, Raja Koduri as chief architect and senior vice president of Intel Core and Visual Computing Group. Following which, we saw leaks about the new discrete GPU in working codenamed “Arctic Sound.”
And only after few days, Intel released out an official tweet about Intel discrete GPU set to release in 2020. Not to mention, the first Intel discrete GPU in nearly 20 years.

Now, Intel has released a teaser of its upcoming GPU in a tweet from a new account named “Intel Graphics.” The video teases support of 4K gaming experience coupled with a tagline “We will set out graphics free.”
On the other hand, Nvidia’s new dedicated graphics card – RTX 2080 teaser video is already out and is set to release out on August 20th. Moreover, it packs the turning architecture earlier shown by Nvidia.
While Nvidia and AMD are coming out with new graphics cards one after the other, it seems like Intel is preparing for a breakthrough in discrete GPU market.
