Huawei’s Second Android Go Smartphone, Y5 Lite, Launched

After launching its first Android Go smartphone, dubbed the Huawei Y3 (2018), Huawei has now announced another one in the league, called the Huawei Y5 Lite in Pakistan.

The Huawei Y5 Lite comes with Android 8.1 Oreo Go edition which is an optimized variant of the operating system meant for low-end devices coming with 1GB of RAM.

The Huawei Y5 Lite comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ FullView display with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9 and a pixel density configured at 295ppi.

The smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. It comes equipped with 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB with the use of a microSD card.

Huawei Y5 Lite

On the camera front, there is an 8-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash and autofocus. The one at the front stands at 5-megapixel with selfie toning flash.

The Huawei Y5 Lite gets its fuel from a 3,020mAh battery and comes with various connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, GLONASS, A-GPS, micro-USB 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Huawei Y5 Lite comes in Black and Blue color options and is priced at PKR 16,999.

There is no word on its availability in other markets yet.
