Google just rolled out a new trick for creating Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites or Forums. If you are a frequent Google Docs user, or simply a lazy person who wished there was an easy way to create new docs; Google is here to save that effort.
The company is introducing “.new” domains for creating Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites or Forums instantly just by typing on the search box.
Type “service name.new”
And done! Now, you will be re-directed to a new document/slide/sheet, etc. For example, let’s say you want to make create a new Google spreadsheet. The usual steps include heading over to the homepage and clicking on the “Create a new spreadsheet.”
But with this new Google trick, if you can just type “sheet.new” and voila! You will immediately land on a blank sheet.

Google has also acquired all the domain variations that you can come up with. Like “sheet.new” can also be typed as “sheets.new” or “spreadsheet.new.”
Similarly, for creating a new Google slide, you can type “slide.new”, “slides.new”, “deck.new and “presentation.new”.
Even if you end up making a typo, Google has made sure that you end on the right result. Just make sure you don’t type in “www” in the domain box.
