You can use safe mode to fix your system drivers, faulty apps, or anything else. Likewise, let us see how to boot into Safe Mode on Windows 11.

Boot Into Safe Mode Using Settings

Here’s how to boot into safe mode via going to Settings.

1. Open the Settings app from the Start Menu.

2. In the system tab, scroll down to open the Recovery tab. Alternatively, you can search for the Recovery tab.

3. Further, on the Recovery page, you’ll see an option called Advanced Startup. Click on the restart button along with the option to continue.

4. Your PC will now restart, and you’ll have several options on your screen. Select Troubleshoot.

5. Then, select Advanced options > Startup Settings.

6. Click Restart. After that, you’ll be given options to choose from. Press the Function key associated with Safe Mode in the list. E.g., Press F4 to boot into Safe Mode.

Finally, your PC will now boot into safe mode.

Boot Into Safe Mode From Start Menu

Alternatively, you can boot into Safe Mode by directly going to Advanced Startup options, avoiding the procedure of opening the Settings app.

1. To begin, open the Start Menu.

2. Click on the Power Button, which has options like Restart, Shut Down, Sleep, etc.

3. Next, while holding the Shift key, click on Restart.

4. Your PC will now restart, and you’ll have several options on your screen. Select Troubleshoot.

5. Then, select Advanced options > Startup Settings.

6. Click Restart. After that, you’ll be given options to choose from. Press the Function key associated with Safe Mode in the list. E.g., Press F4 to boot into Safe Mode.

Finally, your PC will now boot into safe mode.

How To Leave Safe Mode?

To exit Safe Mode and go back to normal Windows, do the following:

1. Firstly, click on the Start Menu icon.

2. Secondly, Click on the power button icon.

3. Finally, click on Restart.

Then, your PC will boot normally.
