Short Bytes: Forbes has released its first ever list of the highest earning YouTube stars. The list comprises of 10 channels, topped by Felix Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie.

For the first time ever, Forbes has published its list of the highest earning YouTube stars. In this list, Forbes has covered the 10 channels that have earned the most from the YouTube.

Most of these stars are under 30 and they have made millions doing what your grandparents would consider just play instead of work.

The list is topped by Felix Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie, who has managed to earn $12 million. He is followed by comedy duo Smosh with $8.5 million, violinist Lindsey Stirling with $6 million, video game commentator KSI  with $4.5 million), and make-up expert Michelle Phan earning $3 million.

Forbes mentions that these stars earn with the help of sponsored videos and previews, and some of them have their own product lines and book deals.
