From the stage of Windows 10 device launch event, Microsoft became a full-fledged product company and released some of its best hardware ever. The company released its first ever laptop called Surface Book and showed a mind-blowing demo of HoloLens and Project X-Ray.

Apart from the above-mentioned surprises, Microsoft also launched its Surface 4 Pro hybrid PC and the new Surface Pen.

Calling out the Apple Pencil, Microsoft’s Panos Panay said, “It’s kind of funny, there’s a Pencil out there without an eraser.” The audience chuckled as Microsoft took an opportunity to make a joke.

Along the similar lines, Microsoft’s head of Windows and devices Terry Myerson tweeted the following just before the new event.

If you don’t remember, in Apple 2012, Apple CEO Tim Cook commented on the newly released Surface hybrid-PC, “You can converge a toaster and a refrigerator, but those things are probably not gonna be pleasing to the user.” Seems like Terry Myerson had his sweet revenge.
