All gaming fans who would love to add Destiny 2 to his or her games collection, now have a chance to do so for free! It’s the game’s first anniversary, and the company is giving out the PC version for free.
Bungie (developer of the game) is giving you all the chance to download the game free of cost; however, there is a catch. You have to download it before November 18, 2018.
For those who don’t know, Destiny 2 (successor to the 2014 Destiny) is a shooter video game which made its entry on September 6, last year. Following the deemed success launch, the game eventually began losing its user base. So now, the company is also trying to make up for its lost user count.
How to get Destiny 2 PC version for free?
Here are the few easy steps you need to follow to get hold of the game’s free version:
- It’s a mandate to get a Battle.net account because the game will be downloaded via Blizzard’s Battle.net site.
- Following this, you are required to get your account verified through Blizzard’s SMS Protect feature.
Additionally, the new players will be able to get a trial of Gambit which is the 4×4 hybrid mode, coming with Destiny 2’s recent expansion Forsaken.
It will be available from November 9 till November 11, during the Gambit Free Weekend.
For the existing users, Bungie has something too! You will get a free Anniversary Emblem which will be made available in December.
