Many Pixel 3XL users took to Twitter and Reddit complaining about the second notch on their devices. The glitch is temporary and you can make the second notch go away by restarting your smartphone.
This extra notch is a virtual notch and is totally unrelated to the one deep notch that houses two front cameras and sensors. The glitch has been acknowledged by Google and the company has said that a fix is coming for it in the next software update.

Google received a lot of flak from the users for shipping a deep notch and for copying the design from iPhone. And now with this issue, Pixel’s notch will be subjected to further criticism.
