During the Bitcoin event “The ₿ Word” today, we saw Elon Musk, Cathie Wood, and Jack Dorsey talking about the cryptocurrency market, the tech, and what they think should be the future of crypto. Considering these personalities came together to talk about Bitcoin is a great indication of the future of crypto. Of course, they all had some good things to say about the crypto market.
Moreover, in “The ₿ Word”, Elon Musk revealed that he owns a “far more” amount of Bitcoin than Dogecoin or Ethereum. He added, neither he nor his companies plan to sell any of the cryptocurrencies they own.
The event “The ₿ Word” is the result of a Twitter conversation between Dorsey and Musk; we all know how much Elon loves to be a Twitter diva! However, towards the end of the show, the three of them shared their views on the future of Bitcoin.
Elon’s views on the future of Bitcoin
After being asked what do you see as the future of Bitcoin, this is what Musk had to say, “well, my hope for, I guess crypto, in general, is that it can improve the efficiency of money… if the core efficiency of money is improved and money has less error (any kind of interference or fraud), this will naturally lead to a better standard of living and more power to the individual”
Dorsey’s views on the future of Bitcoin
When asked the same question, Jack Dorsey answered in a sort of, well, as expected of him. This is what he had to say, “My hope is that it creates world peace or helps create world peace… we have all these monopolies of violence, and the individual doesn’t have power and the amount of cost and distraction that comes from our monetary system today is real, and it takes away attention from the bigger problems.”
He further went on to say, “all these distractions that we have to deal with on a daily basis take away from those bigger goals that affect every single person on this planet… it may sound a bit ridiculous, but like you fix that foundational level, and everything above it improves in such a dramatic way… its long term but my hope is definitely peace.”
While these are their views on the future of Bitcoin, our views are that “The ₿ Word” has indeed turned some eyes. However, seeing from the past events how Musk has manipulated the crypto market through his tweets, his views about Bitcoin’s future should be of relief to Bitcoin owners. In addition, the event is a great indication of better opportunities for the crypto market.
