Former Indian President and the brains behind the famed Indian AGNI missiles Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam has passed just a few minutes ago at the age of 83. Â He collapsed while delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong, and was immediately admitted to the Bethany Hospital.
He was the 11th President of India and also received a Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award. He was an idol to the growing Indian kids.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted, “The death of Dr. Kalam is an irreparable loss to this nation. He has left a big void hard to fill. I deeply mourn his death. RIP Kalam Sahab.”
