Now that the dust is settled, Xiaomi wants you to forget about MIUI 11 and focus on its successor — MIUI 12. Today, Xiaomi unveiled the logo of MIUI 12, at its official Weibo channel.
This announcement is in line with the Xioami’s pattern of hinting about the next MIUI update at the start of the year. Apart from the aesthetic MIUI 12 logo, the Chinese tech giant has refrained from providing more details about the update.
However, it goes without saying MIUI 12 would be packed with many interesting features, and possibly a design overhaul.
A few days ago, Xiaomi released Android 10-based MIUI 11 beta ROMs for a number of devices. Based on that, the next MIUI iteration will certainly include all the Android 10 features.
Since Xiaomi has only confirmed the logo of MIUI 12, it’s difficult to say which features are coming our way. Surely, we will hear more about the update in the coming days.
If it all goes well and Xioami follows its existing pattern of major update release, we would likely see the MIUI 12 by the end of the year.
