Fan-Made 1:1 Minecraft Model Of The Entire Earth Couldn’t Be More Real!

At difficult times like these, when the entire world is at lockdown due to coronavirus and we can’t go outside; PippenFTS, a YouTuber, built the whole Earth in Minecraft.

If you’re thinking of a tiny model of the Earth, then you’re wrong. We are talking about a 1:1 scale model, which means you can compare the satellite image of the real Earth with a shot of Earth in Minecraft, and you’d see absolutely no difference.

In the video that has exploded on YouTube, PippenFTS explains how he is currently climbing the entire 8,848 height of Mount Everest in Minecraft.

There’s a vertical height limit of 255 meters in Minecraft, so how is it even possible to create a real-life Earth terrain in the game?

Well, PippenFTS made it possible with the help of Cubic Chunks and the Terra 1 to 1 mod. The Cubic Chunks mod gives a player an infinite build depth in both vertical directions, which is absolutely insane.

If you’re still confused, then let me make this simple for you. With the Cubic Chunks mod, PippenFTS successfully created the Entire Earth In Minecraft, just as it is real life, without any downscaling.

Now, you might be scratching your head and wondering how did PippenFTS acquire the geographical data of the entire Earth. Well, that is where Terra 1 to 1 mod comes in.

Terra 1 to 1 mod takes the information from Google Maps and other geographical data archives. The mod then uses all that data to create the 1:1 scale model of the Earth in Minecraft Terrain Generation.

What’s freaking amazing is that the mod even takes Elevation data, Tree cover data, Climate data, Road data, and Soil suborder data to make the Planet Earth in Minecraft as realistic as possible.

Participate In Building 1:1 Scale Earth Just As It Stands Today

If you’re a Minecraft Player, then you can participate in this huge project.

All you have to is join this Discord server, and if you’re eligible, then you can pick out your own city or territory and build the infrastructure, like buildings, skyscrapers, and city blocks in your territory.

If every single Minecraft player participates in this, then one day, hopefully, this 1:1 scale Earth will stand as the real planet stands today.

In the video, PippenFTS explains clearly how you can be a part of this effort. He also gives a tutorial on how to use the mods to start building the Earth without any limitation. So if you are also stuck in a lockdown, wondering what to do next, this could be an amusing way to spend time!
