Next, to connect to the network using the QR code generated above, the other user needs to do the following.

1. Firstly, open the Settings app and navigate to the Wi-Fi page.

2. On the Wi-Fi networks page, scroll down and tap on the option that reads “Add network.”

3. There, click on the QR code option and scan the QR code generated above.

How to share Wi-Fi password between iPhone, iPad, and Macs?

Apple, taking full advantage of its well-established ecosystem, makes it seamless to share your Wi-Fi password between iPhone, iPad, and Macs. However, there is a catch.

The prerequisites to share your Wi-Fi password to other Apple devices are:

  • On both devices, turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. If either device has Personal Hotspot on, turn it off.
  • Make sure that the email address you use for your Apple ID is saved in the other person’s Contacts. And make sure you have their email address saved in your Contacts.

Finally, once you’ve met the requirements, do the following.

1. Open the Wi-Fi page in the Settings app and select the Wi-Fi network that you want to share.

2. Further, tap on the Share button and wait for the process to complete.

Can I not share my WiFi network from iPhone to Android?


Although, this doesn’t mean that you can’t share your Wi-Fi network from an iPhone to an Android. However, it simply requires a few more steps.
