In a series of tweets made today, our very own Mars-loving entrepreneur has warned that the cause of the third world war would be AI.
China, Russia, soon all countries w strong computer science. Competition for AI superiority at national level most likely cause of WW3 imo.

His warning was in response to an earlier statement given on AI by the Russian President Vladimir Putin. “Artificial intelligence is the future, not only for Russia, but for all humankind,” he said, according to a report by Russia Today.
“It comes with colossal opportunities, but also threats that are difficult to predict. Whoever becomes the leader in this sphere will become the ruler of the world.”
Later Musk didn’t hesitate to indulge himself in further discussion on the tweet thread.

He even went ahead and downplayed the threat posed by North Korea and their nuke test sessions.
