Just last week, Elon Musk announced on Twitter that he’s looking into building a cyborg dragon. That was all he said; nothing more. We were all expected to do guesswork and figure out what he meant. Is he really going to build cyborg dragons that’d help him invade alien colonies? We don’t know.

In another tweet, Musk recently made a new, “sweeter” announcement. “I’m starting a candy company & it’s going to be amazing,” he said.

I surely have no doubts that Musk has the potential to disrupt the boring candy industry and introduce candies that’d leave you salivating. Will they use AI to change their taste as per your mood or they’d be self-replicating? All these important details remain to be figured out.

In another tweet, Musk said that he was “super super serious” about the candy company. Wondering about the name? Well, Musketeers is already taken so Musk is thinking of settling with Cyptocandy. Others have suggested names like Bitcandy, Bitecoin, Teslers, and more.

This could be seen as a direct challenge to Warren Buffet’s iconic See’s Candies company which has been owned by the legendary investor for 4 decades. Earlier, in Buffet’s views, Elon has been able to play cool in some areas of investment marketing but he can’t make big in candy. “There are some pretty good moats around,” he added.
