When we talk about electric cars, the first thing that comes to our mind is Tesla Motors. Founded by Elon Musk and his associates in 2003, the electric automobile company has become number one electric-car maker in the U.S.

And now, the billion dollar company is set to introduce itself in the Indian market by 2019. In reply to a query about the company’s service capabilities outside North America, Elon Musk said:

Tesla already has one of the largest overseas manufacturing plant in China – Gigafactory where the company is reportedly planning to produce 3000 cars per week. Presently, the Model S and Model X are up for sales in the Chinese market.

As of now, the Elon Musk owned company has over 11.8 bn USD revenue worldwide and has sold over 27k units of Model S in the US market. It will be interesting to see how Tesla will perform in the Indian market where electric vehicles are not particularly popular.

In another news, Elon Musk’s The Boring Company seems to be doing just fine building those tunnels. Recently, Elon Musk went on Twitter to share a breath-taking video of the massive tunnel under Los Angles, his company built to run electric pods that will transport groups of people.
