Demon Slayer: Recap

Demons Slayer Season 2 entertainment district arc’s last episode starts off with Gyutaro and Tangen’s fight. At the same time, Gyutaro expresses his jealousy of Tengen being the chosen one and having everything. To this, Tengen contradicts and explains there are far better Demon Slayers in the corps than him.

As the two continue the fight, Gyutaro expresses his concern as to how Tengen, the sound hashira, is not getting affected by the venom in his blood sickles. To which the latter explains that he comes from a family of ninjas and is the only surviving ninja as all the others are wiped out.

Meanwhile, we see the hashira cutting off daki’s head again and making the poor demon cry and throw a tantrum. Afterward, the focus shifts towards the other demon slayers as they join the fight. While the demons mock the lower rank demon slayers, Tengen defends the tree calling them their best “Tsugukos.” In addition, the hashira reveals how to defeat both the demons by simply cutting both their heads simultaneously.

As the fight continues, Zenitsu and Inosuke fight daki, and Tengen and Tajiro fight Gyutaro. Interestingly, in between their fight, the two demons combine their powers and overwhelm the demon slayers.

At the same time, Hinatsuru joins the fight and throws a volley of kunai towards Gyutaro, while the demon easily deflects the first once; some kunai hits the demon and stops him from regenerating his legs that are chopped off by Tengen—figuring that the kunai is probably laced with something from wisteria flowers. We’re expecting to hear more on wisteria flowers in Demon Slayer season 2 entertainment district arc episode 9, are you?

Towards the end, we see, Tanjiro making the leap and aiming for Gyutaro’s neck. Would the young demon slayer be able to cut the demon’s head? We will surely get the answer in Demon Slayer season 2 episode 9 releases.
