Demon Slayer: Recap
In the last episode of Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc, we saw Nezuko beating Daki senseless in her awakened form. While Daki managed to escape Nezuko’s grasp, the latter had done enough damage. However, Nezuko saved Tanjiro from Daki; she succumbed to her demonic side, slipping further away with each blow.
In Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc’s last episode, as Nezuko was about to eat human flesh for the first time, Tanjiro leaped just in time to stop his sister from doing so. While Tanjiro held her back, Uzui appeared on site and decapitated Daki in a blink of an eye, telling her to shut up as she was not the upper-ranking demon.
Upon getting her head chopped off, about which everyone was shocked as to why she didn’t die, Daki calls out to her brother. That’s when the episode got interesting with the entry of Gyutaro, the real holder of the upper rank six and a lot more powerful than Daki.
Interestingly, we saw little of Gyutaro’s powers and blood demon art in the last episode, and it’s Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc episode 8, which has us wondering how the story will unfold.
