At a GDC event today, Tencent and Activision announced a free-to-play mobile game ‘Call of Duty: Mobile,’ that is along the lines of Black Ops and Modern Warfare franchises.

A beta version of the game will soon be made available in Europe, North and South America. The game makers said that the game would maintain the same look and feel as observed on Xbox 360 and PS3-era hardware.

‘Call of Duty: Mobile’ will come with familiar maps from the previous titles like Black Ops and Modern Warfare. The mobile version of the game is based on competitive multiplayer matches in different modes such as Search-and-Destroy and Team Deathmatch.

While there is no word on exactly when the beta version will arrive on both iOS and Android, but those who are interested can sign up for it on the official site.

Here’s a brief trailer of the gameplay.
