Apple is hosting its special iPhone event today at 10 a.m. PDT. It’s the first-ever event at the Steve Jobs Theater. Here’s a brief overview of what we can expect from the event:

iPhone X?

This year Apple is celebrating the 10th anniversary of iPhone. It’s reported that Apple will be releasing a special iPhone version named iPhone X. It’s likely to be a bezel-less device with thin borders. The home button is also expected to make an exit, which will be replaced by a new Face ID to unlock your phone. We don’t know if Apple will call iPhone X as “x” or 10. iPhone X is expected to be launched as a special edition which will be available in limited supply.

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus?

Apple is expected to launch the regular upgrades of its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models. They are expected to be called iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus instead of 7S and 7S Plus. Will it feature wireless charging and come with the support for the Apple Pencil? Well, we’ll find out in a couple of hours.

A cellular Apple Watch?

Leaks have suggested that Apple will unveil its new Apple Watch that would feature LTE cellular chip. So, you’ll be able to perform tons of tasks with the help of watch only; you won’t be needing an iPhone for making calls, etc.

iOS 11?

At its special iPhone 8 event, Apple is expected to officially launch iOS 11. Apart from the tons of known iOS 11 features, Apple could also showcase some new apps based on the new AR Kit. iOS 11 is expected to be available as a worldwide update next week.

A new Apple TV?

A new Apple TV is set to get an update. It’s expected to bring 4K and HDR video streaming, faster CPU, better Live TV integration, etc.

What’s more?

We’ve heard some rumors related to HomePod, Apple’s high-end Echo competitor. However, it’s expected to make an arrival in late 2017. We can also see upgrades to AirPods, iPad, etc.
