As speculated, Apple has finally sent out invites for its special event to be held at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino on March 25th. Carrying the tagline, “It’s Show Time,” the event is expected to be about Apple’s upcoming video streaming service and news service.

Rumors have it that Apple is set to unveil its original content video service to compete with the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime, and the upcoming Disney+. Also, there are rumors that the iPhone maker company could also announce its bundled service for news and magazines.

This will be the first time that Apple will host an event at the iconic Steve Jobs Theater with no announcements related to the iPhone.

Previously, Apple used the tagline “It’s Showtime” (without the space between “show” and “time”) to announce Apple TV back in September 2006.

The Cupertino-based company has roped in many popular celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston for its ambitious original content service.

This move is seen as part of the company’s plan to open more channels of revenue and shift its focus from hardware after slumping iPhone sales.

Not much is known about the event as of now, and we’ll have to wait until March 25th when Apple will showcase its bundled services and video streaming service.
