Angry Birds has been a game we all know about, and to further increase its popularity, Rovio (the developer of the game) has launched its first-ever AR version, called the Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs.

Developed in collaboration with Resolution Game, the Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs is set in the island backdrop and features the game’s iconic characters Red, Bomb, Chuck, and the Blues and the infamous green pigs.

The new AR game comes in a physics-based puzzle and has 50 levels for users to surpass. Due to the AR nature of the game, players can view the whole setup in real-time and explore it in 360-degrees for better gameplay.

Additionally, Angry Birds AR comes with intuitive controls on the screen to perform actions with ease.

How Angry Birds AR Works?

Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs supports 3D and 360-degree viewings due to which users will be able to walk around and find hidden items and weaknesses.

Once the items are spotted, users can use a slingshot to hit the target.

To recall, the game works very much like the Angry Birds’ VR version which was recently launched.

Kati Levoranta, CEO at Rovio Entertainment, commented, “Now that the game is available globally, we’re excited to see how fans react once they get their hands on it and experience how seamlessly Angry Birds slingshot gameplay translates to augmented reality.”

Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs is now available worldwide for all iOS users and can be downloaded via the App Store

Furthermore, it is suggested that Angry Birds has more things in store for the users; the Angry Birds Movie 2 will hit the theatres in August this year and the game will complete 10 years of existence.
