Google is rolling out Android 12 for Pixel phones as the Pixel Fall Launch unfolds. The update will bring Material You to these devices along with new Android features. Google has talked in detail about the design and privacy overhaul on Android 12. All of those new features are rolling out for supported Pixel models today.
Some of the biggest Android 12 features aside from Material You, will be the notification and media player UI, one-handed mode, and picture-in-picture mode. With Android 12, Google is also promising extended security updates and offers like the Pixel Pass.
Install Android 12 On Pixel Phones
If you have a compatible Pixel device, the update should be rolling out for it. Android 12 is coming to all Pixel devices starting from the Pixel 3. However, you can manually check for the Android 12 update in these simple steps:
1. Open Settings on your Pixel phone.
2. Tap on System and select Advanced.
3. Select System Update and tap on Check for Update in the bottom right corner.

- Pixel 3 and 3XL
- Pixel 3a and 3a XL
- Pixel 4 and 4a 5G
- Pixel 5 and 5a
