Amazon’s annual fall product showcase is today, so here’s what to expect. The event is most famous for new launches like the Echo, Fire, and Ring product lineups. However, the company has already announced its Fire TVs, Kindle Paperwhite, and a flagship Fire TV Stick. These announcements were made just recently, so it will be pretty exciting to see what else the Amazon event has in store for us.
Amazon Fall Event 2021: What to expect?
Based on previous years, the company will likely launch the bulk of its products during the fall event. This year you can expect to see a wall-mounted Echo device. Based on a Bloomberg report, the device will have a 15-inch display. It will act as a control panel for other smart home devices. There’s also an Alexa-powered soundbar that comes with an integrated camera.
According to Bloomberg, Amazon is also working on a second-generation Echo Auto. Another leaked image showed a Ring branded dash camera. This information goes hand in hand with the update to Echo Auto, and a Car Cam would fit perfectly with it. Speaking of Rings, you can also expect to see the Always Home Cam drone Amazon showed off last year. This likely won’t be the only Ring product we see at the event this year.

You can also expect to see Seeker, an Alexa-enabled wearable for kids that comes with GPS tracking. Seeker was expected to launch last year, but we have yet to see anything about it. According to people involved in its development, there’s also an Echo home robot called Vesta, which is turning out to be quite a concerning product. There were also reports of an Alexa-enabled device that could track and monitor sleep apnea. Only time will tell whether Amazon will showcase it or not.

Unfortunately, the event is not a virtual event like many other tech showcases and is invite-only. However, we will be covering major product launches during this event so keep a lookout for that.
Amazon Sale
Surprisingly, Amazon has also preponed its Great Indian Festival sale, which coincides with Flipkart’s Big Big Billion Days sale. Both Flipkart and Amazon sales events will now start on October 3. The company is doing so in response to Flipkart moving its dates up in the schedule. The Amazon sale will go on for the entire month, while the Flipkart sale will continue until October 10. Be mindful of fake reviews when buying through.
